Tender Description
The provision of a quality assured contract for the design and construction of Dobson Park’s Integrated Water Cycle Harvesting Scheme (Dorset Rd, Ferntree Gully). The contract includes design for the electronic component of the project and involves the following approximate quantities: earthworks (350cu.m), 300mm dia. pipe (152m), 375mm dia. pipe (8m), drainage pits (4No.), primary treatment system (1No.), stormwater tank (1No.), vehicle channel crossing (1No.), pumps (4No.), flow rate control valve incl. housing pit (1No.), irrigation system (1No.), 225m pressure pipe (350m).
Tenderers for this project are to be prequalified with the Civil Contractor Federation or Council approved equivalent.
Tenderers should note this contract would be for a period of twenty (20) weeks.
A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Knox City Council Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South, Room 4 at 12:30pm Tuesday 5 May 2015.
Tender forms and specification are available online. Hard copies will be available from Wednesday 29 April 2015 and may be obtained for a non refundable cost of $75.00 at our Customer Service Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South.

Tenders must be submitted on forms supplied and be lodged in the Tender Box at the Civic Centre by 4:00pm, Tuesday 19 May 2015.
Tenders for all contracts must be lodged in the Tender Box on Level 1 at the Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South prior to the closing date in a sealed envelope endorsed with the description of tender and contract number. Facsimile or late submissions will not be considered. Council is not bound to accept the lowest and/or any tender.
