Tender Description
The Service Provider must conduct, and report on, inspections of small generation units installed under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme and in accordance with the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000 (the ‘Act’) and the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001 (the ‘Regulations’). In performing these services the Service Provider must:
(i) Perform inspections which will measure compliance of these systems, and their installation, with requirements to the Act and Regulations, including compliance with:
(ii) All applicable Australian Standards for the system components and their installation, including mounting and wiring; and
(iii) The Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) and any other industry guidelines in place at the time of installation;
(iv) Perform both ‘roof-top’ and ’off-roof‘ checking of installations of systems in accordance with the inspection framework and checklist; and
(v) Ensure that all systems found to present an imminent safety risk are rendered safe and the matter referred to the relevant State or Territory regulator within 24 hours or as soon as practical.
