CTGM & Pipeline Repairs & Fabrication Services

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from organisations for the Provision CTGM & Pipeline Repairs and Fabrication Services.

Hunter Water's intention is to set up a panel of contractors to provide, CTGM & Pipeline Repairs and Fabrication Services.

The scope of items will be separated into two (2) portions "A" and "B" which allows for all or "A" or "B" to be tendered.

CTGM & Pipeline Repairs including, Caulking of the CTGM Pipeline and site repairs by welding of large diameter steel watermains, and various diameter sewermains.

Fabrication Services, including: Minor Design work - Design and drawing of items associated with fabricated items

Workshop Fabrication and Installation of various structural and non-structural items from mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium materials

Site Fabrication and Installation of various structural and non-structural items from mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium materials

General labour hire (e.g. non trades, confined spaces standby personnel)

Hunter Water Corporation's area of operations currently includes the local government areas of Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock, Port Stephens, Dungog and the eastern parts of Singleton.

The contract period will be for 3 years with 2 x 1 year extension options available.

There will be an OPTIONAL briefing session held on Monday 30 March 2015, commencing at 9.30am at Hunter Water's Tomago Depot (Meeting point is the Administration Building)

Please note an agenda for the briefing sessions will not be distributed. The briefing session is for the purposes of discussion, clarification and assisting Tenderers to understand the requirements of this RFT.

The briefing session will conclude once all questions have been answered, but it is anticipated the briefing session will finish no later than 11.00am. Refer Annexure 2 of Conditions of Tendering for further conditions applying to the briefing session.
