TfNSW advises that the Registration Of Interest for the Design and Construction of Gosford South Substation and Wyoming Sectioning Hut will be issued as an Open Tender in March 2015, as part of the Power Supply Upgrade (PSU) Program.
It is anticipated that the D&C documentation will be issued to short-listed Tenderers around April 2015.
The project works for Gosford South scope include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Removal and relocation of impacted buildings and services;
* Design, construction testion and commissioning of substation;
* Undergrounding of a section of the existing 66kV overhead line and cable entry to the substation; and
* Undergrounding of a section of the existing 11kV.
The project works for the Wyoming Sectioning Hut scope include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Relocation of impacted services;
* Design, Construction and Commissioning of Sectioning Hut; and
* Integration with existing switching area and Rail Connection Isolators.
The project works for existing Gosford Substation and 66kV and 11kV Feeders scope include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Construction of a new 66kV overhead span to bypass existing Gosford Substation;
* Construction of a new 11kV cable to bypass existing Gosford Substation;
* Decommissioning of existing Gosford Substation;
* Relabelling of 66kV and 11kV Feeders; and
* Dismantling the existing Gosford Substation.
