Request for Tender In 2008 the first of four proposed tanks was constructed on the Epping North Tank site (WRS605). Given the growth in the supply area the first tank is at capacity and a second 12ML tank is required to meet demand.
This project was split into two stages:
* Stage 1 - Works enabling the tank works and connections to the inlet main
* Stage 2 (This Tender) - All works required for the construction of the tank including, but not limited to; site earthworks, foundations, tank structure, tank roof, associated pipework and fittings, tank coating, electrical works and cathodic protection.
Successful completion of this contract will provide Yarra Valley Water with a new fully functioning tank for drinking water supply, which is practical to maintain and operate. This in turn will allow Yarra Valley Water to continue to provide a high quality of service to customers in the greater Mernda and Epping areas.
