Indigo Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest for the development of an ICT Strategy to optimise Council’s efficiency and productivity, drive improved service delivery, streamline processes and align IT with objectives in the Council Plan.
Indigo Shire is in Victoria’s North East and borders the municipalities of Wodonga, Wangaratta, Towong, Alpine and Moira Shires. Council has 200 full-time, part-time and casual employees dispersed across eight physical sites in Beechworth, Yackandandah, Chiltern and Rutherglen. Council also has a significant mobile workforce and the desire of staff to work remotely with full access to Council systems is increasing.
Council offers a broad range of services to the community and as a result operates a large number of applications across a range of hardware. The ICT strategy will provide a comprehensive review of our current IT applications and architecture, including:
Hardware, software
Data & communications
Identify efficiencies and opportunities for development
Recommend best practice strategies to achieve optimum outcomes for service delivery and knowledge sharing
Take into account the future needs and direction of Council as identified during the information gathering process.
