Refurbishment Works at the Clunes and Gordon Train Stations

⁠⁠⁠The Victorian Government's Community Use of Vacant Rail Buildings Program aims to revitalise some of Victoria's disused station buildings and precincts by making affordable space available for a range of community uses.

In response to strong local community demand, the currently disused Clunes and Gordon Train Stations have been identified and included in the program.

VicTrack is seeking tenders from suitably qualified organisations for the repair, restoration and fit out works, in accordance with the Architectural and Structural designs and specifications. The project works include:

Structural repairs to the buildings including; replacement of the floors, walls, ceilings and roof framing.

Construction of accessible facilities, kitchenettes and toilets including the installation of new fixtures, fittings, finishes and joinery.

Repairs and refurbishment of internal and external finishes and facilities including: installation of new flooring, wall and ceiling linings, windows, doors and painting throughout.

Removal of redundant and construction of new services including:

* Electrical wiring, switchboard, meters, power outlets, data outlets and lighting
* Installation and commissioning of new mechanical air conditioning units
* New or upgraded Connection to authorities power water, drainage and sewer services.
