Project Management Consultant for the Casey Cultural Precinct

⁠⁠⁠Council is about to deliver an ambitious place-making project for Melbourne's outer south east. The Casey Cultural Precinct (CCP) will be one of the largest projects undertaken by local government in Victoria and will be an innovative multi-purpose facility, combining as many as 12 cultural, community and civic amenities under one roof.

The City of Casey is seeking the services of a highly experienced and proactive project management firm (Consultant) to provide support and assistance to Council's project team during the final design and construction phases of the project. The successful Consultant will act as Council's agent, representing it's interests throughout the contract documentation, construction EOI and tender processes, construction and defects liability stages of the project.

As a part of the engagement, the Consultant will lead the preparation of the Principal's Project Requirements (PPR) document, contribute to the evaluation of Expressions of Interest's from contractors, assist in the development of tender documentation and participate in the evaluation of tenders and Best and Final Offers, fulfil the role of the superintendent under the construction contract and provide support to Council during the commissioning and defects liability stages of the project. The Consultant will become an important part of Council's project team, providing strong project management and technical advice on matters such as program, quality of design, materials, fabrication and construction methodologies, cost control and risk management issues that is always in the best interest of Council.

The successful Consultant will have a strong reputation in providing high quality project management services on projects of a similar scale and complexity to the CCP and will have the capacity to sufficiently service the needs of this unique and exciting project.
