Tender Description
The City Of Greater Geelong invites tenders for the safe, efficient and reliable retrieval, collection, recording and disposal of needles/syringes, blood spills and contaminated waste in the Greater Geelong municipality from public areas, nominated sites and private property where required.
The term of the contract commences 25 March 2015 for a 3 year period with options to extend the contract for a further 12month x 12month period at the sole discretion of Council.
A number of procedures, Acts and policies apply to the handling of needle/syringe/infectious waste, of which the contractor must demonstrate both knowledge and an ability to comply to all relevant requirements when applied to the level of service described in this contract.
A schedule of rates and evaluation schedules is to be completed by the tenderer and returned with their tender submission.
Late tenderers will not be accepted.
