Tender Description
Manly Council has decided to redevelop the existing outdoor swimming centre at Balgowlah and Kenneth Roads Balgowlah NSW by the addition of a new indoor centre comprising 25m pool, leisure pool, programme pool, spa suite, creche and other ancillary facilities
The total project cost is anticipated to be around $15 million.
Council has selected TompkinsMDA as Architects and design managers for the facility. Design and documentation is currently under way and the Development Application has recently been approved.
Council now wishes to select up to six (6) suitable building contractors to tender for the works. Tenders will be called early in 2014 and work on site is expected to commence in April 2014. The facilities are to be fully operational by October 1, 2015.
An information package setting out expression of interest submission requirements and incorporating returnable schedules is available to potential registrants.

Expressions of interest close at 2.00pm on 15 January 2014 and should be submitted online via the Tenderlink portal or by placing two (2) bound hard copies in the tender box located in the foyer of the Council Offices located at 1, Belgrave Street Manly NSW.
Late submissions may not be considered.
Council reserves the right not to accept any or all expressions of interest pending formal project approvals.
