Overview
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking a Program Management Office (PMO) Assurance Officer to provide strategic leadership, assurance, governance, and portfolio management expertise across complex digital and technology programs.
The Role
The Senior Project/Program Management Specialist leads a small team of PMO assurance professionals and serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives, program leaders, and delivery teams to improve delivery confidence, governance maturity, and portfolio outcomes.
The position supports the Director, Portfolio Management Office (PMO), in the establishment, operation, and continuous improvement of portfolio, program, and project management practices, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, governance frameworks, and delivery objectives.
