Overview
Services Australia is seeking a minimum of 1 Senior Developer to join a software development team, providing technical leadership and overseeing the quality and functionality of software produced.
The Role
Development professionals design, create, test and document software systems and applications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes. Development Experts lead software development projects and provide technical leadership to their teams, managing software planning, development, and construction activities, and evaluating and resolving complex issues within the development and production environments. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of software, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, guidelines, and methods for system development.
Development Experts:
- Lead the delivery of flexible, quality modern customer service
- Work under the broad direction of senior staff to deliver results
- Make ethical, evidence-based decisions using sound judgement
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships
Role Requirements
- Experience overseeing software development projects
- Ability to write optimised code
- Capability to provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers
- Responsibility for the quality and functionality of software produced by the team
