Overview
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking to engage three (including a merit list) SFIA 4 Senior Test Analysts.
The Role
A SFIA 4 IT Test Analyst leads a team to test the function and interfaces of the systems which make up the Department's core business processing systems.
- Preparing, estimating, managing and reviewing testing documentation
- Ensuring relevant strategies and plans follow best practice and that management of risks is considered
- Providing training on technical testing processes
- Working closely with other test analysts to achieve testing outcomes
- Working in an agile/iterative environment and undertaking specialist or technical research and analysis activities
- Identifying opportunities for automation within software processes
- Using scripts that test functionality through analysis, test preparation, test execution, defect management, and technical troubleshooting activities
- Communicating across a range of media types, using various styles to suit different audiences
- Understanding and embracing the agency's various ways of working, and applying an agile approach to collaboration and delivery of services
