Overview
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) is seeking an experienced ERP Program Manager to lead a complex ERP modernisation program within the Data & Digital Delivery Enablement Office.
About
The Data & Digital Group provides information, computing and communications solutions that enable the Bureau to deliver high-quality observations, weather, climate, ocean and hydrological products and services. The Delivery Office provides project delivery services, and this role will be critical to delivering major programs through the Delivery Office.
The Role
The role is accountable for end-to-end ERP program planning, governance, delivery outcomes, dependency management and oversight of key activities across the program lifecycle, in line with the Bureau Delivery Framework.
The ERP program is a multi-year transformation commencing in 2026, with Finance and HR systems targeted to go live by June 2029. Delivery will follow a structured SAP methodology, supported by staged procurement of a Systems Integrator and coordinated implementation of SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors across finance, payroll and workforce management.
Role Requirements
- Experienced ERP program leader with strong commercial and governance capability
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through complex technology and business change
