Tender Description
Overview
Napier City Council is undertaking the installation of a new 100mm (125mm OD) watermain on Barker Road and requires the aid of a sub-contractor to install a new 100mm (125mm OD) watermain pipe using trenchless construction methods while minimising disruption to the surrounding area.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Potholing
- Excavation of launch and receiving pits
- Supply of all drilling plant and equipment
- Pipe welding
- Completion of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) along the nominated alignment
- Installation of the supplied watermain pipe within the drilled bore
