Overview
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking a Senior Data Visualisation Specialist to join its Digital Team.
The Role
Reporting to the Digital Team Assistant Director, the data visualisation specialist leverages best practice approaches to data visualisation and data communication, working closely with a talented multidisciplinary team delivering agile, user-centred design services.
The role involves collaborating with product owners, data scientists and end users to rapidly iterate data visualisations and interfaces, and managing aspects of the supporting processes and environments.
Role Requirements
- Strong familiarity with labour market and training data, applied consistently across Atlas visualisations, derived indicators, and downloadable data products, avoiding misleading results for users
