University of Sydney Cranes, Winches and Hoists Maintenance Services

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The University of Sydney is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of planned preventative and reactive maintenance services for cranes, winches and hoists across the University's estate.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Planned preventative maintenance services for lifting equipment across the University's campuses
• Reactive maintenance services for lifting equipment across the University's campuses
• Maintenance of cranes, winches, hoists, window washing cranes, electric platform trolleys and associated lifting assets
• Servicing of around 180 assets that are currently outside warranty

A summary of asset types is provided in the attached document.

Contractor Requirements

To be considered for shortlisting, respondents must demonstrate that they:

• Have the capability to service the asset types listed in the attached document
• Have the capability to service equipment from the manufacturer identified in the attached document and provide associated spare parts
• Have experience servicing comparable, like for like assets
• Have the capacity to provide services across the Sydney metropolitan area
• Have suitably located operational facilities and resources to support the University
• Can respond in a timely manner to urgent and reactive maintenance requests

Respondents that do not satisfy the minimum requirements may not be progressed to the next stage.

Instructions to Tenderers

This procurement will be conducted as a two-stage process.

Stage 1: Expression of Interest (EOI)

Respondents will be required to demonstrate that they satisfy the University's minimum requirements and have the capability, capacity and relevant experience to deliver the services.

Stage 2: Request for Tender (RFT)

Following evaluation of EOI submissions, a shortlist of respondents will be invited to participate in the RFT stage. Only shortlisted respondents will be invited to submit a tender.
