The Town of Gawler is inviting Expressions of Interest from organisations, businesses, community service providers and other interested parties who may be interested in leasing the former ambulance station located on a portion of Lot 120 Murray Street, Gawler.

About

The former ambulance station is a Council-owned property with a long history of supporting the Gawler community. With the site no longer required for its previous purpose, Council is seeking to understand whether there are suitable future uses that could support local services, community outcomes, business activity or broader public benefit.

Purpose

Council is open to considering a range of proposals and ideas, including community, health, education, training, commercial office, service delivery or other uses that are appropriate for the site and compatible with the surrounding area.

The Expression of Interest process is exploratory and non-binding. No decision has been made by Council regarding the long-term future use of the property. Any future leasing arrangement will be subject to Council approval, any required statutory processes, agreement of appropriate consideration and lease terms, and execution of formal lease documentation.

Instructions to Respondents

A prospectus has been made available providing high-level information about the property, including its location, improvements, access, condition and current known constraints, to help interested parties consider whether the site may be suitable for their proposed use.
