Construction of Great Northern Highway (H006) / Separable Portion 1 (426MLLHR Grade Separation) / Separable Portion 2 (HD2 Intersection)

Main Roads Western Australia (WA) is seeking a contractor for the construction of the Great Northern Highway (H006), comprising Separable Portion 1 (426MLLHR Grade Separation) and Separable Portion 2 (HD2 Intersection). The project involves the realignment of the Great Northern Highway (GNH) and the construction of a Grade Separation (Bridge No. 1943) over the Rio Tinto (RT) Hope Downs Railway, referred to as the Main Line Lang Hancock Railway (MLLHR). The project is located approximately 110km north-west of Newman.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Realignment of the Great Northern Highway (GNH)
• Construction of a Grade Separation (Bridge No. 1943) over the Rio Tinto (RT) Hope Downs Railway (MLLHR)
• Separable Portion 1: 426MLLHR Grade Separation
• Separable Portion 2: HD2 Intersection

Contractor Requirements

Pre-qualification is required in the following categories:

• R3 Roadworks
• B3 Structures
• F50 Financial

Tender Briefing and Site Inspection

A site visit and a non-mandatory pre-tender briefing will be held together at the Great Northern Highway, Bridge 1943 Site, Newman.
