Tender Description
Overview
Carterton District Council is inviting tenderers to submit a proposal for the Wairarapa Event Centre Solar Panel Project in accordance with this Request for Proposal (RFP).
Scope
The scope includes:
- Installation of roof-based solar panels at the Wairarapa Event Centre
- Installation of ground-based solar panels at the Wairarapa Event Centre
Contractor Requirements
- Extensive experience in solar panel installation, supported by key personnel who have successfully delivered similar projects
- A strong track record in both roof and ground-based solar panel installation, particularly with proven experience in the Wairarapa region and projects of a similar scale
- Positive referee feedback on the company, Construction Manager, and Construction Supervisor
- Sound installation methodologies, quality assurance and risk management processes, and a detailed construction programme
- Active support for the Wairarapa community through subcontracting, employment, training opportunities, and contributions to local charities, schools, clubs, and community initiatives will be valued
