Seagrass Monitoring Program

Port of Townsville Limited (QLD) requires a contractor with suitable knowledge, experience and expertise to implement an annual Seagrass Monitoring Program within Cleveland Bay.

Purpose

The program must monitor and understand variations in seagrass meadow status and trends to inform adaptive management of routine Port operations, maintenance dredging campaigns and future Port expansion.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Implementation of an annual Seagrass Monitoring Program within Cleveland Bay
• Monitoring of seagrass meadow status and trends over time
