Supply and Delivery of Sands, Soils and Raw Materials

Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the supply and delivery of sands, soils and raw materials.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply and delivery of coarse sand
• Supply and delivery of fine sand
• Supply and delivery of bedding sand
• Supply and delivery of playground sand
• Supply and delivery of top dressing
• Supply and delivery of garden mix
• Supply and delivery of topsoils
• Supply and delivery of mulch
• Supply and delivery of other raw materials for construction and maintenance activities

Instructions to Tenderers

Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission to the etender portal, using the response forms within the tender documentation. It is strongly recommended that tenderers begin uploading their submission files at least two hours before the tender closing time.

Submissions must be fully received by the closing time indicated in the etender portal. Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion.

Submissions will not be opened publicly, and the lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserves the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation, and may invite all respondents to change their submission to take into account any such change.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the closing time.

Enquiries

Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date, and all questions, information requests and clarifications must be posted prior to this time.
