Structural Steel Fabrication and Delivery - New Palmerston Secondary Special Education School (PSSES)

⁠⁠⁠STEEL FABRICATION AND DELIVERY TO SITE

• Supply, manufacture, treat surfaces and transport both internal and external structural steel to the New Henbury School project inclusive of but not limited to columns, stub columns, top and bottom plates to stub columns, beams, outrigger beams, valley beams, girts, raking angles, window heads, bracing, roof bracing, fly bracing, purlins, trimmers, bridging, steel stud wall framing, SHS mullions, hoist supports, operable wall support steelwork, down pipe brackets and the like;
• Supply only of all necessary connection bolts, chemsets, masonry anchors, holding down bolts, cast in plates, fixing brackets and the like to Australian standards complete with a template for each type of assembly;
• Allow for the supply of all necessary packers, shims, accessories and the like;
• Allow for providing pre-drilled holes for hoist and operable wall support steelwork for hoist and operable wall installation, as required;
• All structural steelwork to AS 4100 and AS 4600;
• Protective coatings to steel to comply with AS/NZS 3212, unless otherwise noted but generally, all internal steel to be Class 2.5 Blast with a coat of inorganic zinc to 75 dft and all external steel to be hot dipped galvanized.
• Undertake all necessary weld and heat testing and provide full copies of test results, certifications and the like, prior to practical completion.
• Supply copies of all necessary weld procedures and welders qualifications.
