The EL1 IT Business Analyst (IT BA) leads complex business and systems analysis to ensure IT solutions align with the Agency’s strategic objectives. Acting with a high degree of independence, the role partners across business and technical teams to understand processes, translate business needs into clear technical requirements, and drive solution design and implementation. It serves as a key conduit between stakeholders, enabling effective collaboration and delivering outcomes that improve organisational performance and service delivery.
The IT BA plays a critical role within a Scrum team by bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery. Working closely with the Product Manager and Product Owner, the IT BA ensures that requirements are clearly defined, understood, prioritised, and translated into actionable user stories that deliver value.
The IT BA contributes to product success by refining requirements, managing stakeholder expectations, and supporting the delivery team throughout the product lifecycle.
