Cleaning Services at Australian National Botanic Gardens

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Director of National Parks requires a suitably qualified and experienced service provider for the provision of consistently high quality scheduled and unscheduled cleaning services at the Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG), located in the ACT.

Scope

The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:

• General cleaning, including the cleaning of internal and external building surfaces
• Collection of waste to landfill and recycling from colour-coded waste and recycling stations, in a manner that ensures the integrity of the source separation
• Transportation of separated waste and recyclables in a suitably equipped receptacle from inside buildings to designated external skip infrastructure provided
• Specialised cleaning, including the cleaning of laboratories and specialised facilities
• Supply of all cleaning products and consumables on site, including toilet paper and hand towels

Instructions to Tenderers

Tenderers are required to make their own assessment of the sites to be serviced. Building aspects of the site may change over the life of the contract, and consequently adjustments may be required to the contract to reflect these changes.
