This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Major Sourcing – Future Workplace section (the Section) provides the Department of Home Affairs with specialist sourcing and transition services to deliver the Future Workplace arrangement from a sourcing program into business as usual operations.
This includes:
- Sourcing strategy development.
- Market approaches for complex, high value technology acquisitions.
- Expert transition management ensuring seamless implementation with minimal disruption to stakeholders.
- Overall program governance to ensure transparency and successful delivery of major ICT transition to a BAU function.
The Section is currently delivering the market test for the replacement of the Department’s Selected IT services arrangement which covers the managed services for certain ICT end user services such as end user desktop computing, desktop packaging, service desk, service management and on-site field support. Due to the substantial amount of work required to undertake these activities, the Section requires additional resources to supplement the APS workforce.
Project management services are key to ensuring the program of work is successfully executed.
