Residential Furniture Leasing Services – Sydney

⁠⁠⁠The Consulate General of the United States of America in Sydney, Australia invites you to submit a quotation provide residential furniture leasing services for the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, the U.S. Consulate General in Sydney, and the U.S. Consulate General in Melbourne, Australia. If you would like to submit quotation, please follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable offer at the lowest price. See Section 4 Evaluation Factors for information on how offers will be evaluated. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Prospective offerors/quoters are hereby notified that the U.S. Government intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference via Google Meet. The conference will be held at 14:00 (AEST local time) on Monday, June 8, 2026 Thursday, June 11, 2026. Interested prospective offerors/quoters shall email sydcontracts@state.gov to register and obtain the Google Meet login details no later than 14:00 (AEST local time) on June 9, 2026.

Quotations will only be accepted electronically. Hardcopy quotations will not be accepted.

Electronically submitted quotations shall be e-mailed to sydcontracts@state.gov by 12:00 noon (AEST local time) on Monday, July 6, 2026. No quotations will be accepted after deadline.

For a quotation to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following:

1. SF-1449

2. Section 1C, Pricing

3. Attachment 1, Schedule of Items / Furniture Adjustments (spreadsheet with two tabs)

4. Additional information as required in Section 3 including pictures and specifications.

5. Section 5, Representations and Certifications.

6. Proof of System for Award Management (SAM) Registration

Offerors shall be registered in the SAM database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
