Supply and Delivery of Quarry Products

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council is seeking submissions and competitive rates for the Supply and Delivery of Quarry Products. Quarry products include but are not limited to soil and cover aggregates, crushed rock and crusher dust, etc. for construction and maintenance activities. Council carries out numerous infrastructure works, including civil construction and road maintenance programs where these products are required.

Depending on pricing, location and qualifying criteria, Tenderers may be ranked in order of preferred suppliers for any, one, some or all material types and locations.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

Lodgement of Submissions: Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission to the etender portal, using the response forms within the tender documentation.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Closing Date and Time: The tender closes on the date entered in the etender portal and the tender documents (unless extended, check new Closing Date and Time). Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
