Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking to scale grower led innovation for Australia’s potato grower and processor industries through partnerships with suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partners for the project: Potato industry communication and extension program (PotatoLink) (PT26001).
The overall objectives of the services are to deliver a measurable improvement in the prosperity and sustainability of the Australian potato grower and processor industries through:
• Evidence based and effective engagement of potato growing and processing businesses and their advisors
• Tracking, sharing and meeting industry needs through innovation support cycles that are nationally coordinated
• Coordinated innovation support services where potato grower and processor businesses also grow vegetables and onions or are in regions where there are also vegetable and/or onion growing businesses
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
