The Digital Business Division (DBD) provides retail digital services for export and biosecurity regulation, operations, and compliance at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. This generates a range of efficiencies and delivers best-in-class digital and data products. The division is responsible for a suite of mission-critical systems and services through enterprise data governance and data analysis services.
The role is responsible for working directly with various product teams to continually assess, improve-on and modernise our multi product customer facing applications, platform infrastructure, security, performance, tools & process strategy, and implementation. This initiative seeks to provide direct input into assistance and guidance in the improvement of rapid software development, deployments, scalability, visibility, reliability, resilience, incident management and cost effectiveness. This role collaborates heavily with technical leads and architecture functions.
