The Digital Business Division (DBD) provides retail digital services for export and biosecurity regulation, operations, and compliance at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. This generates a range of efficiencies and delivers best-in-class digital and data products. The division is responsible for a suite of mission-critical systems and services through enterprise data governance and data analysis services.
The Corporate Data and Analytics team deliver's enterprise-grade data products and insights to support evidence-based decision-making across corporate functions. The team requires a resource with a broad skill set across business analysis, data engineering and light project delivery support who can drive outcomes with limited supervision.
The team is looking for someone who can bridge business analysis and data engineering (with the ability to provide practical delivery coordination where required) to translate business needs into fit-for-purpose data assets and reporting products. The role will operate end-to-end—discovery, stakeholder engagement, requirements, data mapping, solution design, hands-on build and delivery—so they can progress work with limited support and keep delivery moving
