This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Buyer requires the provision of two full-time embedded Red Hat Enterprise engineers to support and optimise Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Satellite and Ansible platforms underpinning critical DFAT workloads. The engineers must deliver work under the Buyer’s direction to uplift Linux platforms to meet Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) ML2 requirements, manage priority and ad hoc technical issues, and provide flexible, pooled capability to meet operational deadlines and emerging needs.
Red Hat SKU: GPSS-RH-DEE
Who will be responsible for maintaining the Linux Red Hat infrastructure: Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform & Enterprise Linux. Optimise user experience on supported applications: Z-Scaler, Splunk & Tenable. Leverage NPP E8guidelines to achieve standardisation of configurations across Linux platforms.
The Sellers must provide Red Hat Application Dedicated Enterprise Engineer service subscriptions, including all associated benefits, entitlements, and support. Including but not limited to:
- 2 Full time (40hrs per week) Engineers for the duration of the subscription term
- Red Hat project coordinator included (.5 day per week)
- Coverage provided when DEEs on PTO/training > 5 days.
- Flexibility to bring in other expertise as/when required
- Onsite deep dives that include examining current state architecture and iteratively develop forward-looking plans (roadmaps) based on DFAT priorities.
- Informal mentoring, general knowledge sharing and configuration of Red Hat software.
