Snowy Monaro Regional Council Buildings and Facilities Cleaning

⁠⁠⁠Scope:

• The Contractor is responsible for providing all cleaning materials, consumables, and equipment needed to deliver the cleaning services at Council facilities, unless otherwise stated by Council.
• Council will supply core consumables, including toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and bin liners. This approach supports consistent service standards across facilities and allows Council to purchase these items in bulk at a lower cost.
• The Contractor is responsible for managing, restocking, and properly using all consumables (whether supplied by Council or the Contractor) and must maintain the agreed service standards at all times.
• The supply of cleaning chemicals and other minor (sundry) items will be agreed with each Contractor as part of the contract, based on value for money. Council may choose to supply additional items where this provides better value.
• All materials and consumables must meet relevant Australian Standards, Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, and environmental guidelines.
• Where Council supplies consumables, the Contractor must follow Council’s ordering, stock control, and record-keeping processes.
• Council may request the Contractor/s to supply Additional Services from time to time, to be negotiated on a need's basis, with all details agreed in writing; and/or referenced as a Variation.
