Badu Council Office Generator

⁠⁠⁠Background

The Badu Council Office serves as the primary disaster coordination centre for the entire island being the largest island of the Western Cluster Island Group. In the event of a power outage at the central power station, the Island Disaster Coordination Committee requires a reliable backup power source to ensure continuity of essential operations and communications. During the planning phase an investigation was conducted to identify a suitable location and connection point for integration into the Council Office building - See attached report titled: Badu Investigation Works and Compliance Report.

Scope of Works

Supply one (1) canopy-style diesel generator rated at 60 kVA prime power to be able to withstand a harsh marine environment, including but not limited to the following:

• Sound-attenuated, weatherproof canopy (aluminum or stainless steel)

• Marine varnished alternator

• Bunded fuel tank (approx. 360 L minimum)

• Digital engine controller

• Batteries and starting system

• Minimum 12-month warranty

• Data specification sheets
