Recondition and Condition assessment of SOBN

⁠⁠⁠The opportunity

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action is responsible for managing Victoria water resources including groundwater and the subsequent State Observation Bore Network (SOBN).

The Department is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) T2026-0227 for the provision of refurbishment, rehabilitation, and condition assessment works on Victoria’s State Observation Bore Network, including reconditioning of groundwater monitoring bores and ad-hoc decommissioning as required.

Quality assurance for the Works will be undertaken by the Department through review of Contractor‑provided documentation, reports, photographs and/or videos demonstrating compliance with the Specification.

The Department’s Groundwater Assessment and Modelling (GAM) team may, at its discretion, inspect works during or after completion. Such inspections are not continuous and are not intended to provide day‑to‑day supervision of site activities.
