Safety Provision Maintenance and Testing

⁠⁠⁠Mount Barker District Council invites Tenders from Tenderers for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Essential Safety Provisions (the Services) to Ministerial Building Standard 002, Ministerial Building Standard 003, the relevant Australian Standards and relevant Technical Data Schedules included as part of this Specification.

Maintenance may include but not be limited to repair, replacement and supply of new and end of life assets i.e.: fire extinguishers, fire blankets, emergency lights, exit lights, batteries. Council reserves the right to engage other parties to undertake the repair, replacement or supply of new and end of life assets.

The Council will enter into a Contract for the Purchase of Services with the successful Tenderer for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend for a further two (2), one (1) year extensions.

In accordance with Regulation 94 of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure (General) Regulations 2017 under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016, Council requires the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Essential Safety Provisions at the nominated sites.
