This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Australian Government is inviting organisations through a one-off ad hoc process to apply to deliver infrastructure and amenities under Program 2.5 – Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship over 2 years from 2025–26. The program will fulfil the 2025 election commitments to support multicultural communities as outlined in Labor’s costed plan to Build Australia’s Future.
The grant will fund organisations to complete priority projects that provide benefits to multicultural communities, including purchasing vehicles or a building and upgrading existing infrastructure and amenities. The projects identified will provide direct support to multicultural community organisations demonstrating the Government’s commitment to support both small and large communities and more diverse organisations with strong local links and who provide innovative support direct to their communities.
To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be an invited organisation listed in the table at Appendix A of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines and have received an invitation to apply for this grant opportunity.
The objectives of the program are to:
- support multicultural organisations to deliver infrastructure or amenities to provide access to purpose-built facilities
- improve amenity and accessibility through investment in community infrastructure, equipment and resources
- build resilient multicultural communities through the provision of social, cultural and community facilities.
The intended outcomes of the program activity are:
- maintain and enhance access to multicultural infrastructure and amenities
- encourage and facilitate multicultural communities to connect and commune in a designated safe physical environment
- improve equity outcomes and social inclusion.
