2a Introduction
To ensure ongoing operational reliability, the Bureau operates a fleet of Enterprise Electronics Corporation (EEC) weather radars that require continuous support and maintenance. As part of this support, there is a requirement to procure spare parts essential to radar performance and lifecycle sustainment.
This Statement of Requirement forms part of an Open Tender for the supply of spare parts for the Bureau’s EEC radar network, including the procurement of part 601803 – Coupler, ROT, RF, EEC, 100677 SM-301-1001.
2b Background to Requirement
The Bureau is seeking to establish a long-term deed arrangement for the ongoing supply of EEC radar spare parts to ensure continuity of service and support for its radar fleet.
Through this tender, the Bureau aims to engage suitably qualified suppliers capable of providing specified EEC radar spare parts or approved compatible alternatives, delivered in accordance with the performance and quality expectations outlined in this document.
2c Objectives and Outcomes
The objectives of this procurement are to:
• Establish a sustainable, reliable supply chain for spare parts required to support the EEC radar fleet.
• Ensure long-term availability of critical components to maintain system readiness and performance.
Achieve value for money through competitive sourcing of genuine EEC spare parts or proven, compatible substitutes.
The desired outcome of this procurement is the establishment of supply arrangements for the specified EEC radar spare parts—including part 601803 and alternatives where appropriate—for a term of five (5) years, with options for extension
2d Detailed Requirements
Purchase of BOM# 601803 - Coupler, ROT, RF, EEC, 100677 SM - 301-1001 as spares for the EEC radar network.
2e Key Performance Indicators
All necessary documentation including drawings, and technical instructions reflecting supplied version of the components are provided with or prior to supply of the goods.
Goods are delivered within the specified lead times and quantities, and delivery times are communicated in advance by the supplier.
Goods meet the required specifications and are of the required build quality and are packaged appropriately to arrive undamaged at the Bureau delivery point.
