Substructure Upgrade and Timber Flooring Replacement (Courts 4-7)

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Dandenong (“Council”) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for a substructure upgrade and Timber flooring replacement project at the Dandenong Basketball Stadium (DBS).

The Scope of works for courts 4-7 is generally summarized below:

- Establish a site compound to support delivery of the works.

- Remove and dispose of any items noted for demolition.

- Existing Timber Decking shall be carefully removed.

- Joists identified for replacement shall be removed.

- Required rectification works under the sub-floor shall be carried out as specified in the provided structural drawings.

- Bearers identified for stiffening shall be stiffened in accordance with the relevant structural drawings.

- New Joists shall be installed as specified for each court in relevant structural drawings.

- New decking shall be installed as per structural drawings.

- New timber skirting to be installed.

- Any existing court infrastructure impacted during demolition or timber flooring replacement shall be reinstated to match the existing conditions.

- New timber decking to be finished as per manufacturer requirements for the specified floor polish.

- Install new Volleyball floor sockets and electrical floor boxes at scorer’s tables.

- Court line marking to be completed as per the provided specifications.

- Court infrastructure and loose furniture items to be restored to match existing.

- Make good on any floor thresholds or other interfaces adjacent to the timber flooring.

- Remove and make good of all areas used for site compound.
