Street Trading Operators Falls Creek

⁠⁠⁠Falls Creek Alpine Resort invites Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced operators to provide temporary food services within the Slalom Plaza precinct and the Village Bowl. This opportunity supports the Resort’s commitment to enhancing the visitor experience through vibrant, diverse and complementary food offerings in high ‑ use public spaces during peak visitation periods.

The EOI seeks proposals for temporary, well ‑ designed food service operations offering fast and convenient food options that are not currently available within the immediate vicinity of the proposed trading locations or as a complimentary addition to those services. Proposals should demonstrate how the offering broadens visitor choice while complementing, rather than competing with, existing permanent food and beverage businesses within the village. For the avoidance of doubt, references to ‘temporary’ in this Invitation relate to infrastructure and operational requirements, and do not limit the potential licence term.

Approved operators may be authorised to trade during declared snow and/or green seasons, subject to licence conditions.

Successful proponents may be offered a street trading licence for a fixed term of up to three (3) years, including payment of applicable licence fees and compliance with all operating conditions, as determined by Alpine Resorts Victoria. At the expiry of the term, trading rights are not guaranteed and may be subject to a further public tender or EOI process in accordance with the Falls Creek Street Activation Policy.
