This contract would bring all lift services under one supplier, ensuring every lift is routinely inspected, compliant, and properly serviced and maintained. This streamlined approach promotes consistent performance and uptime across the portfolio, while safeguarding the wellbeing of staff and the public who rely on these assets.
By implementing regular, proactive servicing, Council is likely to reduce costs associated with faults and breakdowns, as issues can be identified and resolved before they escalate.
The successful tenderer must maintain all lifts to maximise operational efficiency, minimise downtime, and ensure safe operation at all times. This includes adjusting, repairing, or replacing worn components that may reasonably be expected to fail before the next scheduled service. The successful tenderer must optimise performance, reliability, and safety without additional cost to Council.
