Tender Description
The Buloke Shire Council is seeking proposals from suitably qualified companies to undertake the required investigations and develop the Buloke Shire Flood Mapping Project.
The intention at the completion of this study is to have updated and sufficient flood information that is capable of being used by a variety of stakeholders including authorities and community for land use planning, flood management planning, emergency response and flood education.
The project will include:
Modelling and analysis to define flood behaviours in the study area for the full range of flood events including modelling of climate change scenarios.
Identification and evaluation of measures to mitigate and manage flood risk for the townships of Charlton and Wycheproof, which will also include recommendations for flood planning overlays.
A review of the performance of existing mitigation infrastructure and works at Charlton and Donald.
Updates to flood warning systems and emergency management plans across the study area.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tenders close at 2:00pm AEST on Wednesday 13 May 2026 and Tenders must be fully received by this time. Buloke Shire Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Buloke Shire Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to any Tender proposal. Late, verbal, postal, facsimiled or emailed Tenders will not be accepted.
