Requirements
The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) is seeking external cyber security services to support key initiatives identified in TEQSA’s cyber security uplift program. These are:
- Deploy MS Sentinel across core functions and services as a Security information and event management (SIEM) and retire existing tool.
- Setup MS Defender Vulnerability Management for endpoints and servers and retire existing tool.
- Set-up a Security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) service. This includes integrating MS Sentinel capabilities with MS Defender XDR in the Defender Portal. (Optional - TEQSA to decide whether to deploy SOAR capability after the SIEM deployment has been completed)
- Provide 24/7/365 or 9/5/365 monitoring, incident detection/response, and threat intelligence Security Operations Center (SOC) as a service from implementation until February 2027. (Optional - TEQSA to decide whether to procure the SOCaas service after the deployment has been completed)
