Supply and Delivery of Kerbside Bins

⁠⁠⁠ Council is in the process of planning its household kerbside transition to a four-bin system as required by the Victorian Government. Based on the current draft Household Waste and Recycling Service Standards (2024), this is to commence from 1 July 2027. Council is seeking supply and delivery of bulk quantities of bins of various sizes, FOGO bin caddies, liners, and educational material, to single-unit dwelling (SUDs) and multi-unit developments (MUDs) within Whitehorse.

Suitably qualified and experienced provider is sought to:

1. Supply and deliver lime-green-lid FOGO bins, FOGO bin caddies and liners to SUDs and MUDs by 1 July 2027.

2. Supply and deliver purple-lid glass bins to SUDs and MUDs by 1 July 2027, subject to Council approval to provide this service.

3. Supply and deliver bins and caddy packs over the specified timeframe, deliver ad-hoc bins and caddy packs post rollout and deliver any excess to JJs Waste and Recycling (Council’s current kerbside collection Contractor).

4. Provide a cost-effective and high-quality product and service to Councils residents. This includes customer service that is compliant with the relevant standards, policies and guidelines.

5. Provide the best environmental outcome, using recycled content and recycling retrieved bins.
