Heritage Advisory Services

⁠⁠⁠Mitchell Shire Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified heritage professional or consultancy to provide Heritage Advisory Services to support Council’s planning functions and heritage management responsibilities.

The service is to be delivered on an as-needs basis, subject to Council workload, with an expected requirement of up to one (1) day per week (or equivalent 7.5 hours) over two (2) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional years (up to 4 years in total).

The service will assist Council in ensuring that development affecting heritage places is assessed appropriately while promoting conservation and appreciation of the municipality’s cultural heritage.
