The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is seeking a tool for monitoring global spectrum management developments.
The tool would provide:
• Timely identification and updates of international spectrum auctions and independently verify auction outcomes. Ideally it would also offer political and market context around the auction updates.
• In depth coverage and frequent updates on international spectrum allocations to assist the ACMA in shaping Australia’s approaches to allocation, licensing, planning, and pricing of spectrum.
• Coverage of ACMA activities in the spectrum space—such as major allocations, planning decisions and Expiring Spectrum Licences (ESL) processes—and how these activities are perceived internationally.
