Tender Description
Tenders are invited for the provision of mobile crushing and screening services for Council’s quarrying activities.
Contractor/s are required for crushing, scalping, blending and screening of approximately 480,000 tonnes of rhyolite and 60,000 tonnes of basalt shot rock for a variety of sizes and products.
Contractors are to supply plant, equipment, operators and fuel to deliver the services, there is no guarantee of a minimum or maximum of quantity of material requiring crushing for the duration of the contract term.
Council’s quarries are situated at the Image Flat Quarry - Image Flat Road, Image Flat and Dulong Quarry - Sherwell Road, Dulong. Council also owns or has rights to extract material from several smaller quarries and gravel pits across the region.
All services undertaken under this contract will be performed at Image Flat Quarry.
This is a Schedule of Rates contract. The initial contract term is two (2) years, expected to commence 1 July 2026 and expiring on 30 June 2028. There is the option of three (3) by 12-month extension options.
