OVERVIEW
Townsville City Council’s (TCC) Water Services (WS) section is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of air compressor servicing as defined in PSA00279 – Compressor Equipment Services including Servicing, Supply, Install & Maintenance (this document). The compressed air systems are critical to the operation of Water Service’s water and wastewater infrastructure and ensuring environmental and public health standards are maintained.
The proposed contract is for a fixed two (2) year period plus a one (1) year option to extend at Councils discretion based on supplier performance. The contract comprises of scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, both of which are to be provided on a schedule of rates basis. Costs for consumables required for servicing are to be included in the supplier’s material cost schedule and are subject to an annual pricing review. The contract also provides an option for capital renewal and replacement of existing equipment on an “as required” basis.
