Defence Intelligence Enterprise Data Strategy Refresh

The Defence Intelligence Group (DIG) seeks short‑term surge support (~6–8 weeks) to supplement the DIG Data Directorate in progressing the refresh of the Defence Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) Data Strategy for 2027-2029. The refreshed strategy needs to be updated to align with the evolving 2026 National Defence Strategy priorities and to embed crisis-readiness.

A Strategic Engagement Plan has been developed to outline the continuous and targeted engagement approach, with stakeholder mapping and sequencing of milestones already understood. Initial phases of the plan are underway, with contractors required to surge in to lead technical workshops, conduct targeted consultation, synthesise engagement inputs and begin drafting of the DIE Data Strategy 2027-2029. It is expected that tasks will run in parallel/concurrently under limited direction.

This work requires knowledge of AI-enabled workflows, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) data mechanism, Defence Data Fabric patterns, federated governance, and cloud interoperability across DIG Integrated Investment Program (IIP) projects—ensuring the Strategy is executable against enterprise architectures and crisis-readiness needs.
