Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Designer and Contractor for the replacement of two timber bridges (Bridge 2 & Bridge 3) located on Kelsey Creek Road, Kelsey Creek west of Proserpine.

The bridges were inspected in June 2024 (Level 3 Structure Inspection in Appendix B) and was reported to be at a condition state “CS4” (very poor condition).

The project will be managed as a Design and Construction Contract with four distinct stages:

a) Preliminary design;

b) Detailed design;

c) Final design; and

d) Construction.
